Neil Joined Truestone in 2006 as C.O.O. following a successful career at Barclays where he was Customer Services Director for Barclays Funds and later Offshore Operations Director for Barclays Wealth Management. He also found time to obtain his MBA focusing on marketing and strategy development. Neil’s professional obsession is delivering excellent client service whether it is at face to face meetings, over the phone, online or by post. He believes that many large and prestigious financial businesses have lost sight of what clients really value and spend too much time chasing short term financial results to keep shareholders happy. He sees this is the antithesis of what Truestone stands for and the bespoke service that sets the business apart. It was the company’s stance on socially motivated investing which first attracted Neil to Truestone. He is convinced that investments that offer wider social benefits as well as investor returns, have an important role to play in bringing about much needed social change; increasingly becoming mainstream within the investment industry. Despite the importance of going green these days, Neil enjoys motor sports and driving. He spends as much time as possible down the gym but in truth that’s not very much time at all.
