Angus has been actively advising private clients since 1992 and joined Truestone in 2004. Angus is the Director with responsibility for overseeing the service provided to our private clients. Although Angus provides advice across a wide range of financial planning needs he has developed a high level of specialist knowledge, gained from many years experience assisting clients with pensions and investment planning. Angus is one of only 300 practising financial advisers to have attained the title of Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS). This is widely regarded as the leading qualification for financial advisers. Angus is also a Chartered Financial Planner and holds a BSc (Hons) in Financial Services. Angus believes that a key part of his role is to cut out the jargon and simplify the complex rather than bamboozle clients with unnecessary bureaucracy. As he says ‘clients need to know that we know what we are talking about but don’t need to be experts themselves – why have a dog and bark yourself?’ Away from work Angus is a keen sports fan and a Wycombe Wanderers supporter. Clearly two diverse interests! A family man with a teenage son and baby daughter he takes great pride in his son’s sporting achievements and offers a willing taxi service. Contact Angus. |
